Unfortunately, New York City No longer accepts payments by phone.

Mail

Remember: give yourself enough time for your ticket to be processed through the mail stream and delivered. If you want to avoid penalties and interest, the NYC Department of Finance must receive your response to the ticket by the 30th day from the date the ticket was issued.

Simply, enclose a check or money order of the full amount indicated on your New York City parking ticket. Make sure to write the ticket number, your license plate number, and the state of the vehicle registration on the front of your payment. Mail payment to:

In Person

The Department of Finance Business Centers provides a variety of services to New York City drivers. Choose your local borough to find a location that’s closest to you. These offices collect payments, issue vehicle tow releases, and hold parking ticket hearings among other things. You can have a walk-in hearing at a DOF Business Center. Just remember, hearings are held on a first-come, first-served basis. As shown above, all centers keep the same operating business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

You can also fight your New York City parking ticket by requesting a hearing via mail.  Remember to always be mindful of mail-stream transit times! Make sure you mail your hearing request early enough for the Department of Finance to receive it within 30 days. You can mail to:

Car Boot Release Contact Information

To remove a car boot from your vehicle, simply call (877)-207-2134 and pay all outstanding judgment debt, plus the additional fees listed below. You can either pay by phone with debit/credit card or an electronic check. You may also pay by cash, money order or cashiers check at a Business Center. Drivers should always remember, if your car is booted or is at risk of being booted, never pay your ticket online! You are better off handling it in person or over the phone since you may have to wait for online payments to process.
